the Media Scape 2009. - Infinite Games

DIVA Station is a physical and web archive of video art which has been developing since 2005, and is one of SCCA projects, which seek to research, document and archive video/media art: Videodokument, Videospotting, Internet Portfolio, Artservis Collection and e-archive. DIVA Station is a partner in the GAMA (Gateway to Archives of Media Art) international internet platform, which brings together European video/media archives to make them more visible and easily accessible.
After the successful presentation in Škuc Gallery, DIVA Station will host at the multimedia festival Media Scape 2009. - Infinite Games (symposium, presentations, projections, workshops, exhibitions) in Novigrad (Croatia). Ida Hiršenfelder, critic, publicist and collaborator of DIVA Station will present archive's components from videotheque to digital archive, talk about collaboration with the artists and point of some of the challenges how to archive AV material.
