The One Minutes Foundation (TOM Foundation) in Amsterdam, the Today Art Museum in Beijing and national partners proudly announce the World One Minutes Beijing 2008 exhibition.
1.000 One Minutes from 90 countries will light up the museum's main building, with a large-scale projection of a special One Minutes compilation taking place in the central hall.
The One Minutes, screened at the Today Art Museum, were selected by TOM in cooperation with curators from participating countries/centers, who are stimulating the making and showing of audio-visual works that last exactly one minute.
Since 2006, as the TOM Center for Slovenia SCCA-Ljubljana promotes and stimulates the production of one-minute videos from Slovenia as well as encourages the artists to participate at yearly international festival and exhibition.
The selection of Slovene One Minutes for Bejing was made by Barbara Borčić and Dušan Dovč (SCCA-Ljubljana) and includes:

- Miha Vipotnik: Iz dežele Ki Jeni
A special book World One Minutes in Video and Literature also accompanies the exhibition. Much more than a catalogue, it contains contributions from 22 renowned international writers, with stories and poems inspired by the One Minutes concept. The book has its own DVD, video stills and background info.
After Beijing, the World One Minutes (in Beijing as part of the city's official cultural programme surrounding the Olympic Games) will be travelling to Lisbon, Zagreb, Sao Paulo and Istanbul.
