We would like to invite you to the concert of Bratko Bibič & The Madlays on Wednesday, 24 April 2013 at 19 p.m. in Bežigrad Gallery 2.
The programme O•zvočenje 11- whose orientation is distinctly contemporary and original - has been part of the tradition of Bežigrad Gallery since 1980. The composers and groups presented are engaged in contemporary, experimental and minimalist music and incorporate into their music various environmental sounds.

Bratko Bibič & The Madleys perform a concert programme of original music by Bratko Bibič, a renowned accordionist and composer. The music is, as is typical for Bibič, characterized by a mixture of fictional rural as well as urban folk and popular music, which is generally associated with contemporary music, jazz, rock and improvisation. Bibič and his team add spicy-strong instrumental and vocal dialogues with voice clips, music as well as sound fragments from the phonographic treasury of vaudeville and dada-like futuristic "poetry of sound" to the mixture, which does not lack in humor. The concert whole is governed by a specific dramaturgical-composing principle of a "cinematic narrative", quilted with the red thread of Bibič's renaissance-patriotic poem "Petelinje".
